Interested in getting involved? Here are some opportunities to join the team.

Adoption Events.

Do you enjoy snuggling up with some sweet pups? Talking with people about how amazing dogs are and how lucky their future families could be? We need awesome volunteers like you to help us at our adoption events! If you have a few hours to share on the weekends, we’d love to have your help handling dogs and ensuring the safety of our pups, volunteers, and the public. Must be 18 years of age to volunteer at adoption events - if you’re under the age of 18, a parent must accompany you the entire duration of the event.

*Please note, due to COVID-19, adoption events are subject to change to ensure the safety of our community, animals, and potential adopter.

Transportation.

Do you have a car you’re open to sharing with a pup (or two) in need? We often need help transporting our pups to and from vet appointments, events, or foster homes (or maybe to their furever family!). If you’re in the greater LA area and enjoy some quality time in the car with a loving pup, you’re just what the vet ordered! Flexible schedules work great with this volunteer position as these requests can’t always be planned in advance, but it’s not required.

Fundraising.

The HIT Living Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which means we rely on donations from our amazing community to support our efforts in saving and rehabilitating dogs in need. If you’re a creative go-getter and/or enjoy planning events - digitally or in-person - we invite you to start a conversation! There’s no idea too big or small, wild or tame to help shed light on our mission and raise funds for deserving pups.

HIT Living Ambassador.

Be a HIT Living Ambassador! As an ambassador, your outgoing and friendly personality will help us tell our story to the community and be at the forefront of growing our community, helping raise awareness to our mission of providing for animals and humans in need, and living in Honesty//Integrity//Trust.

You do, however, need to have an understanding of what is and isn’t ok for/with dogs as well as their health or signs that something could be medically wrong with an animal.
