Owner Surrender

Thank you for considering the HIT Living Foundation to help you find a safe and loving home if you can no longer keep your pet.

Can we help?

Filling out our owner surrender form does not guarantee that we can take your pet.

*Please DO NOT post your pet on craigslist or other resources that aren’t part of your local rescue community. Many cruel and heinous things may happen to them. If we are unable to welcome your pet into our foundation, we can help provide you with verified and safe resources.

Please note: You must live in the greater Los Angeles area to foster with the HIT Living Foundation as it's imperative that our foster dogs and families are close to our vets and team. For more information on fostering, read our Foster FAQ page. Once our team has reviewed your application, one of our dedicated foster coordinators will reach out to discuss next steps and finding your foster dog.

We’re so grateful for the amount of support our community has shown us. Due to Covid19, we’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of applications we’ve received and we thank you for bearing with us and your patience as we review all of the applications.

If you have the resources to donate, we would gratefully appreciate it - every dollar helps us save and provide for dogs in need!
